Electric Vehicle Charging
Stations
Level 1 Charging
Level 1 charging stations typically use standard 120-volt household outlets to power charging. These units are typically in home, workplace, or public spaces and only provide a charging capacity of 3-5 miles per hour.
Level 2 Charging
Level 2 charging stations are used for daily EV charging and deliver between 12-80 miles of charging per hour. They require a 100-amp 208-240V power supply and tend to be ideal for workplace environments or parking garages.
Level 3 Charging
Level 3 charging stations are the powerhouse chargers that deliver the fastest charging capacity of all EV charges, a whopping 3 to 20 miles per minute. These units are typically installed in the workplace and public settings.
